In France, households are responsible for half of the energy consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition to financial measures granted by the Region and the Department, municipalities may help individuals to finance their installations (solar waterheating system, wood boilers, photovoltaic panels ...) to achieve energy savings, improve lifestyle and adopt an eco-citizen behavior.

My resort’s local council will inform and financially compensate individuals, hosts and shops owners who set up renewable energy systems and water reduction programs. It also provides surface area bonuses for building projects respecting environmental standards (COS). Financial aid may also be allocated for the purchase or the set-up of one or more of the following items: photovoltaic panels, solar water-heaters, rainwater collection systems, geothermal systems, green roofs, etc.
